General Aviation Center Renamed PGD Air Center

PUNTA GORDA, FL (Aug. 20, 2021) – The General Aviation Center will be referred to as the PGD Air Center moving forward. The 13,000 square-foot PGD Air Center will house FBO operations, meeting and event space, a restaurant and bar, leasable office suites, pilot lounge and aircraft parking on a 510,000-square-foot ramp.

At their Board Meeting on Thursday, the Charlotte County Airport Authority agreed with staff’s recommendation on renaming the facility.  Plans for a new FBO hangars, corporate hangars, T-hangars, taxiway and taxilane improvements are also underway.  Click here for the site plan rendering.
